I use this fone, I just got it. It is an "ok" fone not so fantastic but it has the essentials of an android fone for today. I bought one for my boyfriend and dad. I would recommend it over nokia dual sim.

Greetings.
A friend of mine asked for an opinion but since I haven´t used it, what is better, Samsung Galaxy Gio or Samsung Galaxy Y Duos (he'll only use one SIM, but the store doesn´t have the one SIM version at the moment)? Is the there a large difference in the battery duration between them? I thank for an urgent answer...

AnonD-62489, 18 Jul 2012We NEED HELP in this issue: --------------------------- I... more i encounter d same problem too, plus usb cannot read by computer..i noticed that the same day i bought this phone, and i thought its normal for a new phone..but after a few days, its irritating coz its keep on happening so i decided to bring this to service center.the usb problem solved, but still that message"SD card unexpectedly removed"keep on appearing..so i removed the free memory card and changed it with my old memory card, then luckily that problem with SD card solved. samsung galaxy y gt-s6102 not a very good phone

We NEED HELP in this issue:

I have a silly problem with this phone!!
After I update the software to Android version 2.3.6
This message appears from time to time:
"SD card unexpectedly removed"
and sometimes when i unlock my phone, alarm notification "!" appears then it shows:
"Preparing SD card.."
"Media scanner running ..(SD card)"
"Media scanning (completed)"
before the update this notification appears only in case i power on the phone and unplug the USB from PC.
please anyone face the same problem ?!! that's really bothers me.

very low internal memory with no flash player & multitasking is confusing..

Don't waste yr valuable money on this phone. its screen resolution is very poor only ~127 ppi (240x320) for 8800 rs. u can get same 240x320 (but superior ~182 ppi) in very low end samsung metro c3322 and other similar phones.
I don't understand why samsung is offering such low standard devise in 9k rs.
friends Android is not everything.
its RAM is also very low (290MB) so further ICS update not possible. if u exclude Android and processor, this phone is worth nothing just similar to 4000 rs phone.
Spend yr hard earned money wisely.
rest is yr choice.

bunty, 16 Jul 2012google play is not working while I am processing it shows ... moreIf google play does not work try to see if the time settings are OK. Just re-syncronize time with network time.
