by sliding the notification bar you can choose which sim you want to make call by.
yes you can switch off one sim and make other active .

Hi I have bought one of these phones but I cant seem to select which sim to call out on? i.e a number is stored on sim2 but when i dial out it uses sim1 all the time.
can anyone help please

hi all ./ i have low memory to download, i'he installed App2Sd application . but still cant move some applications to SD . does it need too root ? or other solution can fix my problem ?
if need rood , i need the website for rooting and the way to do it.

Dear owners, quick question: How does this phone support dual sim, in terms of usage? For example, when u want to make a call, does it pop up a "window" prompting for the sim to be used for the call? Also, different ringtones for each sim. Finally, does it support "making silent" or turning off one of the two sim cards during the day?

I have bought this phone around 10 days back. I have downloaded a few apps.It worked fine for a few days but now it has become very slow. For eg., whenever I click on the Call,Contact or Messages button, it takes time to open where for a few seconds a black background display comes until it opens that page. Similarly for other apps too.This wasn’t there earlier.I have deleted a few apps ,transferred the ones I can on the SD card and also downloaded Cache Cleaner. But it is still the same.Battery too works only for a day when used with Wi-Fi.Pls help

really it is a nice phone as it supports adobe flash player 10.2 but it is not from google play, download it from http://www.mediafire.com/?4rb0dzqum33w3sb
after downloading
step 1 goto settings and select applications
step2 unknown sources allow phone to install
step 3 now open the downloaded file and enjoy.

I must say that it is a smart phone but be careful the camera picture looks to be faded and some time data cable don't work perfectly.

i tried 2 use my Galaxy Y Duos as a wireless modem for my laptop. my laptop identified the network but couldn't connect showing some error message.i followed the steps in the manual, but the result was same. i have connected succesfully via USB cable. any suggestion on this? my laptop has xp SP2.
