I don't know if I got a defective unit since when the unit goes standby, power will also shut down...
My S6102 has WEAK battery life also... First time to use Samsung phones and I'm very dissappointed...

fidels, 28 Mar 2012My memory card (8gb) is unmounting itself when phone is ina... moreI did use this hanset yet but I faced this problem when I used gt-5722. I coppied all my files to a coputer, scaned the memory cared & recoppied my files back, so prplem solved, you may try this solution, I hope it will help you.

Hi friends. I m new to this forum.
I am planning to buy this phone.
I tested the GPS on Galaxy S and ACE. It looks they don't have real GPS. Rather Assisted GPS. B'cos they dont show the satelite positions and their signal strengths. Where as Nokia 5800 show these. And in Galaxy GPS doesn't work without 3G. But this phone (S6102) manual shows a seperate antena for GPS which the S & ACE manuals don't.
Have anyone got any idea? Someone having this phone, turn off the 3G and try the GPS in an open space.

fidels, 28 Mar 2012I am facing problems with 8 gb sd card. It is unmounting it... moreuse 16gb card one time. u got same problem dont use above 4gb.this is like a handset problem. other wise u check it a new mobile device.

My memory card (8gb) is unmounting itself when phone is inactive. When I activate the phone, it starts to work with 'scanning media'. This problem was not noticed earlier when I used 4gb card. Anyone has solution?

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2012I am totaly confused wht the difference btwn galaxy y &... moregalaxy y duos is double SIM whereas galaxy y is single sim. y duos has a better camera, a slightly higher RAM and its screen is also a tad bit large.
