Yes to both with some ifs and buts. Blackberry operates in RIM and precisely known for the excellent mail server. I am using Y-Pro now and configured my office mail(ms exchange) & Gmail. Both are working fine subject to connectivity.
It comes with inbuilt ThinkFreeOffice and works ok.

i got this phone i'm on 02 but ive been unable to connect to internet phoned 02 they didnt have the settings so they talked me through to manually put them in i still cannot connect to internet help plz

To all who already bought this phone, I have a question for you:
Does this work like a Blackberry phone wherein every time there's an email, there will be a notification in real time? I mean, you don't have to/need to download your emails inbox anytime to check whether you have some email messages?
And, does it have a document editor? Which don't need an internet connection to access it?
Answers will be greatly appreciated!

Anonymous, 02 Feb 2012Is this a dual sim phone?No, it is not dual sim model. While this model is B5510, dual sim is B5512 and suffixed with a DUOS name. I bought this phone thinking it to be a dualsim phone. However now I found it better than my friend's duos in terms of technical problems and the ugly looking DUOS print.

TAYO, 04 Feb 2012Absolutely shocking phone, very slow often causing TM to po... moreNot that Bad, as you described. It is a Y (lower end) model and does the work fairly ok. It certainly hangs at times, but that problem is with every android phone. I am using it for last 2 months and except that it hanged 6/7 times, I find it to be a value for money. It is a branded, inexpensive, android, qwerty, decent looking phone with all bells and whistles like GPS, WIFI,etc. I find it to be good if not WoW.

Absolutely shocking phone, very slow often causing TM to pop up and force close apps. This phone hates SD cards as it always freezes (say 6 times a day?) as a result of "unexpected SD card removed". The keypad lock sucks, i must of called my friends about 100 times in my pocket, and the emergency services around 8 times. All in all : DO NOT PURCHASE. if you find a Phone thats more expensive save for it

finally samsung created what i wanted long time..
a touch screen with type also with opticle trackpad..i love it
it can run all android 2.3 supported apps and chat on app bettr than bbm
best of all most sofisticated n convinient handheld device. must have phone
