This cell phone is very nice working in 2G,&3G . But, when I used for calling phones so the battery fell down with is half hour. When I charged then iam again calling continue, so this the big trouble in this phone . So plz, plz. Plz. help me, how can I improve long lasting battery, help me. Thanks you so much coperate with us.....

I purchased this ph... moreYou can only make voice calls with Skype on the phone as video chats are not supported for Skype.However,you can make video chats using Tango or make video calls through the phone network provided the other party has a phone that supports video calls.There's a difference between video chatting and video calling.Apps like Skype and Tango are for video chatting,while for video calls no apps are required.You just place a call and choose video call option instead of voice call.As far as I know,Samsung phones are the only ones that support video calls on Android.The others support video chatting.

danu, 24 Oct 2012nice phone , i am using this phone No issue yet. but the da... moreDear danu, i also have this phone. you should go in SETTINGS > SOUNDS > PHONE SOUNDS > AND OFF SYSTEM TONES. This will use less battery and your battery will long-last!! :)

The specs for Speed is HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps. I purchased this phone and wanted to make a video call using Skype. So I downloaded Skype on my handset and tried a video call. The other party could hear only my voice but could not see me. I did not get any option for front or rear camera. So I messaged Ideacare with CHECK and it responded as "Your handset Samsung B5512 supports 3G and video calls but doesnot support high speed internet. We recommend you to upgrade to atleast a 3.6Mbps handset to get 3G speeds." Now my handset is having 7.2 Mbps speed so I asked my friend who is IT manager. He recommended to purchase handset with speed above 14 Mbps to get the video calling. Idea says you cannot make video call between handset and skype(run on computer or laptop). I am confused totally. How can I get video calling on skype with my handset? can anyody suggest anything other than "Change Handset"?
