...released sometime in January yet there are no stocks available in the Philippines...Cant Samsung release stocks asap....we, samsung users are eager to hold one, knowing it is a very good unit in terms of price and specs.......

Have used phone for few weeks now. It's worth the price. All in one dual sim for pro people ;).
Battery backup is standard android.
Small screen will pinch a bit else all is well.
Small screen will led to longer battery life (One pros of small screens).
Good phone for those who like qwerty and want to avoid BB.
Personally i don't like Samsung.....But cheers for Samsung this time

Like Pro duos is it Active stand by?
Means If i am attending 1 call then can other person call me on my second sim?

AnonD-14794, 07 Apr 2012I have read so many comments on this phone both Positive an... morehi..........i bought the mobile two weeks ago and it is great but i have two comments. first, the two sims are not active at the same time; that is if u have a call on sim 1 and someone called on sim 2, he gets "tjis number is not available" messge. second, the internal memory is terrible; since the os is andriod so i was hoping to download some of the applications on the andriod market. i bought an eight giga sd but most of the application downloads on the mobile's internal memory, which is drastic bec it's really a small memory and i v already downloaded an application from the andriod market that should be moving app to sd but it doesnt with most of the applications..............any ideas how to fix this because it is a real nuisance?
one more thing, how did u upgrade the system?

I have read so many comments on this phone both Positive and Negative before i finally decided to purchase it. some even comment on the phone without using it which is very very wrong. while some used this devise slightly without even exploring the wonderful features it has and they will start to comment on what they dont even know about. I have used it extensively for 1 Month now trying to explre the features on this dual sim phone and this is what i have finally arrived at...
SAMSUNG GALAXY Y PRO DUOS B5512 Features....
1. This Phone is Dual active standby (Both sim Works at the same time)
2. Comes Preloaded with Android gingerbread 2.3.6 with samsung touchwiz
3.when on call with sim 1 phone rings on sim 2 as well as sim 1 when someone calls.
3.Both sims are 3g capable, but only 1 works in 3g mode while the other operate in 2g. you can switch each sim to work in 3g or 2g.
4.video call camera works perfect when calling other 3g phone.
5.Nimbuzz video call works. Also Internet Calls (VOIP) is perfect on this device. I have not tried skype or yahoo messenger.
6.so far the phone works well and does not hang like other dual sim phone.
7. user interface is very easy to operate and switching between sims are easy too.
8. Screen is 256k and not 16 million colours which make the display not quite perfect. but atleast its ok.
9. call waiting works on both sim 1 and 2.
10. camera is not perfect but ok.
11. Multitasking Works perfect on this Device. the the touch screen is responsive and does not lags, the user interface is very easy to operate.
12. Battery Life is Ok with calls But Drains a bit faster when making video calls which is normal.
13. Already there has been an update release from samsung for this device and i have updated mine yesterday. The File size is 4.48MB and the update brought some few new additional improvement which makes the phone perfect.
i have used alot of dual sim phone from different brands manufacturer including samsung too but this model ( SAMSUNG GALAXY Y PRO DUOS B5512)is the best and i mean the best in the market for now.
Anyone wishing to have it should buy it cos you will never regret having this phone.
In samsung we trust...........At least for Now.

inorder to get best performance of ur galaxy battery please charge ur cellphone fully by switching it off 2 or 3 times when u buy it. it will surely give you better performance i hav tested thrice on galaxy phone I9000,I9100,I9001.and ofcourse ypro duos
