I want to use Sim1 for calls and Sim2 only for data(3G),and want to enable USB tethering to connect my laptop to it on my travels. I have the following questions:
1- If I receive a call on Sim1, will I lose data connectivity on Sim2?
2- I read also that the data speed is low. Is it true in general with this phone, or does it happen only in certain situations?

Whereas if you receive phone call in one sim, other will go out of coverage... as soon as u end the call other will get in to coverage area...
in genral mobile is not user firndly and the touch as a response time of of mre than 2 secs for each operations

Guys
Why AAC, AAC+, WMA files are not supported? In the website it is mentioned that these formats are supported any idea? Anyone facing this unsupported format issue? Why sometimes the caller ringtone is changing automatically? Anyone has this issue?

hemant, 02 Apr 2012very useful information provided. thanks.what he saying is wrong man ..while i am taking to a person on sim 1.and if an incoming call comes on the 2 ,i can see the incoming call.. that means both sims are active simultaneously ..but there no option change between the sims on call..its dual active only....

Bought 1 last saturday.
I will downplay my emotions and say that I am SATISFIED with this mobile so far. The target audience of this phone is Young Professionals. People who are only interested in multimedia features and a smart phone can look at Galaxy Y duos. Coming back to this handset.....
Pros:
1- VALUE FOR MONEY - you wont get these features at this rates in any other mobile.......
2- touch is very smooth
3- track pad is super smooth
4- SIM swap option is unbelievably simple (just one button)
5- qwerty keypad is spacious and comfortable
Cons:
1- A flash player should have done wonders.......
2- NOT DUAL ACTIVE. While you are on call with one sim the other sim is not available to receive calls
I would rate this phone as 8\10
