I lost my iPhone 4 in 2012. No more money to buy new phone. I bought this galaxy y for temporary use. I used it for 10 months before I get my new iPhone 5. During that period it served me 80% functionality of what my lost iPhone 4 served me.... Well done. Later my friends Note 2 dropped into a swimming pool. No money to buy new phone. Again, my galaxy y act as a hero, I lend it to my friend. He uaed it for 6 months with minimal differences from his drowned Note 2. This heroic galaxy y came back to me and since I love it and appreciating its functions to 'help' no money people... Hahahhaa... I still using it as my 2nd phone. Overall great phone.

guys... i miss this phone so much... its been living with me about 3 years... i experience all the hard and good time with this phone.. this phone drop hundred of times still strong until now... :')
i know u all have this phone...
i hope samsung make the new version of Y
galaxy Y II with 5.5 inch 16mp 8mp super smooth screen..

Best Low End Smartphone.... just awsm ..
rooted nd using hyperion 9GM Final Version since 4months working absolutely smooth nd F9
internal memory problem also solved using Link2Sd....
So far tried more dan 25 roms finally @hyperion 9GM Rom Stable nd Best....
Battery Pickup using wifi its lasting 5 to 6 hours with Browsing Videos on Single Charge... nd Standby Whole 1Day...

It's a good mobile to use to get the experience Android technology. Only issue is the internal memory can not be expandable.

This phone is absolutely awful. It has no memory so you can't even update its terrible software without "out of memory" errors. Worst phone I've ever owned.

i have been using ths phone for 2 years.. not very bad .. bt i face alot of problems.. starting from battery n ending to RAM..
cant keep more than 3-4 apps..n hangs up very often..
