Using this phone since 3 years and experimented everything...like increased ram, changed stock rom with a almost every rom in the market available for this phone..which is developed by xda developers..!! Used chainfire3d to run games...but now I am really tired of this phone....because nothing is good about this...!!
If you want to increase it's ram you need to flash a custom rom on it...and after flashing custom rom you will not get any official updates for the phone....!! You will need a good sd card to increase ram and internal space..using link 2 sd because all increased ram and internal space will be the space of your sd card in which you have to make partitaion to do all stuffs....!! also I tweaked my phone by many methods...and all my experiments were successful....!! But never gone it's...hanging and lag problems...!! Nothing is good in this phone....if you linked the app to sd card the app will lag alot...!! Now I am switching to windows phone and...believe me it never hanged..or lagged a bit....super smooth...!! It's my true experience about this galaxy y if anyone is here used all experiments like me would surely know that I am telling the truth...!! In my opinion you should not buy this phone...!! It's just a suggestion for all of you...don't take me bad...!! And still if you want to use this phone further....no problem it's all your choice...!!

I am using galaxy gt s5360 since 3 and half year today also in great conditions but it has small ram and internal memory

it is a very wonderful phone by samsung it will give 2 days of charing with using appa and playing games so i liked these phone

This phone is very good .. i am using it since 3 years.. i had rooted it and its working soo good till now.. you can get any phone at this price range .. but u will face more problem in that phone..
