Not a gud to buy now.... Others are more than efficient nowadays. waste of money... hanging... battery not enough for a day...

it is a good smart phone . I use it almost three or four months.I relise ,its a good 3g campatible handset and network also.

i am using this mobile from 1year..worst mobile..the packet data is always disconnected..hanging problem is there..battery back up is ok..i am not satisfied with it..don't buy it's waste of money

I'm using this phone since one and half years and I can tell you how good of a phone it is. Let's start from the beginning. Network quality is the best in this phone and so is call quality. I can clearly and loudly hear the caller even when i am in a crowded place. It's small and very comfortable to use one handedly. Speaker quality is awesome, since it has SRS WOW HD sound. Gingerbread is a better OS than Jellybean. Music and video quality is great. I find the camera quality to be better than my Nokia Asha 501 and my dad's Nokia X2. Almost all basics applications work on it like a charm and touch is very responsive. It was my first Android phone and took me some time to learn. This is a quality phone. It has proximity, magnetic, accelerometer and gyroscope and everything works perfectly fine. Now for those who are having hanging issues, Android OS is a resource hungry OS which requires powerful hardware to run. Gingerbread is like Windows XP, runs on low hardware easily. Use your device once Media scanning has completed and if your phone isn't booting up then download Odin 1.85.exe and drivers for your Samsung Galaxy Y S5360 and then search "How to install stock ROM with Odin for Samsung Galaxy Y S5360" on Google. Download the stock ROM according to your region. It's easy. This is a very good phone. Easy to use and very good hardware quality. Since Android OS is a resource hungry OS, don't install many applications on your phone as it makes it slow and close applications in the background. That's it. I'm very happy with these phone. Hats off to Samsung. I can't get any better product than this phone at a price of 7k in the market.

When ever i swtch on my phone galaxy y it jus shows the samsung logo and switches f i tried wid software update from samsung care but it still shows the problem :( kindly help

I am using tbis phone about 6 months . In my opinion the internal memory is very low 190 mb and can't install more apps ram is also weak . Touch is well but some times back key not works. Also Cannot run all games like Temple run , Death Race , subway Surfers etc. Battery is well.
