I was wondering if galaxy y can block calls and texts. I cannot receive calls and texts from a specific contact.

hi,friends.... i just purchased a galaxy y today,,,, and i am so exited that i can connect to internet by using galaxy y as a Wi-fi hub... at a time it can connect upto 5 devices to browse internet...
The only thing i found as a problem in galaxy y is it's low screen resolution...(240X320)

it is an excellent mobile in this price range..
iam using it for one week and it is great mobile...

Big Dady, 29 Oct 2011u cant compare optimus to galaxy y .. a person buys galaxy ... morei have to confess that lg optimus p500 is much better than galaxy y (in same price) in all important aspect.. 1. lg has better display resolution (180 ppi) 2. more ram(512mb) n internal memory 3. Better camera with autofocus 4. video format is vga 5. most importantly lg has ARM 11 processor while y has ARM 6 6. another critical issue is battery ..lg gives u 1500 mah bt y has 1200 mah battery 7. lg has divx, xvid, wmv ,wma support while y hasnt 8. in addition ig has fantastis sound quality than y in both headphone n speaker..
after all of dis u guys decide which one is better..!!!!u can compare this 2 n justify my findings..

Display is very bad and camera also 2 bad for the price
this is not good choice friends believe me
I would like to prefer lg optimus

u cant compare optimus to galaxy y .. a person buys galaxy due to price range.And y to forget micromax...

who says screen quality is so poor come in front..!
i only says its quite good.
thats why no cmnt for its display especialy for those micromax sales man who were present here..!

Best phone in this price, high speed internet, can watch movie using mobo player, play games like angry birds, drag racing, inotia, trial xtreme HD

though this phone is running gingerbread firmware.
internal memory and ram is not that to compete with today's third party applications.
but its processor is good enough to handle ram pressure.
this device is not that best for playing games because of low resolution.
i will advice you to take your decision yourself.

I bought it before last month. Galaxy y rocks with wifi and 3g. Really android touch is good experience. But only main problem is its battery backup.. which is works only 3 hours continues internet use ( by fully charged). And also sometimes automatically hangs. And camera clearity not good to compare sony.!.
Really battery problem is baaaaaaad. So i keep plug it in wall. Ha ha..
