I bought this fone a week ago...
This a very basic fone with android, much better than feature fone because it can run android apps. Dont hope to run lastest game with this fone, it's completely craps. At least u can use it for tracking device, dualSim fone, wifi hotspot, etc.
The positives : Glonass GPS, Good Battery Life (about 2 days), Kitkat, Good Signal Reception, Dual MicroSim H+, Performance is Good Enough (lag is not noticeable), Small Form Factor, Price US$72 (off-contract).
The Negatives : No AutoFocus, Memory 512mb (will lag if too many apps), Bad Screen Image Quality, No Flash Light, no e-compass.

To reinforce the review i made, i ran ANTUTU BENCHMARK V5 and the scores are;
1. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 ------------41,614
2. Samsung Galaxy s3 neo duos--------15,835
3. Samsung Galaxy young 2 duos--------7,007
You can see the margin in terms of overall performance as bench marked by ANTUTU. In fact the rate it as poor performance. So don't expect the performance of a midranger of this device. It's an entry level smartphone.

Hi all. I have had this handset for almost a month now and my experience with it is;
Pros
1. With the OS 4.4.2 things are quite fast and fairly smooth.
2. Most apps run quite well without hitches but avoid heavy apps and games.
3. The design and looks are quite appealing and it is comfortable on your hand given its small size.
Cons
1. This is am entry level device so don't expect too much from it. I use it as a secondary device and it can't do alot.
2. The main limitations are the the screen size (320*480 3.5"), the RAM (512 MB) and the single core 1Ghz processor.
Kitkat maybe meant for entry level devices with low RAM but you will still notice the occasional lags here and there.
3. The camera, video and screen clarity are below par but expected for such an entry level device.
In closing, if you want a secondary device, or an entry level smartphone for medium use with a newer version of android, then this is a good phone for you. If you want fast responses and a work horse then look elsewhere in the midrange or high end depending on your budget.

Hi.Does this phone able to run Facebook,Gmail,YahooMail,Livescore,lottery and betting pages,news and of course Top Eleven Manager? Thats all im wondering,if it able to run without any problems im taking it,coz my provider offers me this phone if I extend contract to another 2 years,I was plainning to buy phone like this but never wanted to spend much money and this is for free to me,so if all those things can be opened ill extend contract and take it. Thanks in advance

China phone with same price as Galaxy Y 2. China smartphone better than this. This phone single core but China use mediatek dual core with same range price smartphone.

I have old s6310, very slow smartphone with single core & gpu are not avaliable. Maybe this phone are very similiar. My recommendation is not buy this phone.

This phone is on sale in Indonesia for Rp 999.000 or around $85 so its actually cheaper than Galaxy Young but why is Samsung doesn't make it at least dual core?

[deleted post]While it is true that some cheap Nokia phones are dumb, their Android models (Lumia XL, X2, X or 630) are faster in browsing the net when compared to Samsung, LG or Sony models with the same specs. The photos of the Nokia high-end phones (Lumia 1020, 1520, 930 and 935) are FAR SUPERIOR THAN ANY OTHER SMARTPHONE in quality with their PureView Technology.
Ler us hope that the coming Mobile Windows 10 can rescue the inept Windows 8.1.
