This is a rubbish phone. After using for a couple of month the phone restarted itself and is no longer proceeding to main screen, it's stuck on the screen which displays "SAMSUNG"

If you purchase the phone the speed is average, but if you use it for longer it will get very slow. For a little more money you can buy phones that are much and much better. I can know, I have it for more than a year now.

I had bought Samsung Galaxy young 2 years ago, Samsung made many things & cuts to make it cheap:
1-the processor is single core, now phones even as cheap as this phone have at least dual core, single core made the phone to put all the apps load on it making phone very slow and lags. Please note this is the main disadvantage of this phone.
2-the screen is budget TFT and not protected against scratches.
3-no 4G
4-the Battery is below standard (1300 mAh).
5-the camera is average at best.
6-less than 1.5 gb is available for you to install apps.
You can run apps like Facebook and whatsapp and some light games but dont expect to play fifa 15 - Asphalt 8 - Real racing at all.
Please consider other phones with better specs at this price as they would give greater value for your money

The only thing is it can't handle most of the popular games due to
1 ) screen size
2 ) ram and processor aren't that great
3 ) internal memory is too low in my opinion
I recommend it for people who won't mind having 1-2 casual games and social apps since they work fine

Please don't think ever to buy this phone, i regret buying it :( , this Galaxy young is extremely slow, only 1GHZ single core!!! which affects overall performance and gaming badly, No updates till now!!! and i think samsung would never do. The battery & Camera are average , and the internal memory is only 1.5gb avaliable for your applications and games if you don't want to root. there are many many alternatives better than this at this price like Moto E for example. I would buy another phone very soon because the specs are now Outdated.

Well I have had and am currently using GT-6102 for 3 years now and its been the best compact phone for my business with prepaid dual Sims and tethering with my tablet on building site. Am updating to the GT-s6312 as the old one is tired..... its very compact and if you need a simple phone that can make phone calls, texts and internet connectivity on prepaid dual Sims then this is the answer. I text with Telstra (1 cent text to Telstra phones)and call/internet/tether with Optus as its only $2 a day unlimited. Looking forward to my updated Samsung duos phone to arrive!!!!

using this phone for the last 1.5 yrs.true reviews:
pros-
1.small and handy.
2.good sound quality.
3.battery backup is okay.
cons-
1.if u want to use more apps then internal memory is low. 2.sometimes the phone becomes unresponsive.it may be due to high usage of ram.tried clearing it.but still the problem persists.so had to restart the phone.
3.camera quality is not good.if outside during the day,photo captured is good. indoors,camera sucks.
4.phone gets heated very fast.

AnonD-400226, 28 May 2015if you want to install free navigation application i sugges... moreyeah navitel is best app i too use it now but it dosent work smooth in this phone and lot of lagging too. The navitel app is of 150mb for android plus you have to buy it.

android 4.1.2 on this HH is BAD than android 2.3 on Galaxy young GT 5360.. we cannot enable move to sd just using link2 sd that not simple than move2 sd. so 4GB internal storage only can use 1.48gb it's small enough
We can increase storage by swap memory and link to SD but its complicated enough for common Android user..
the other lack of this HH than its old brother galaxy young gt 5360 is the GPS feature need long time to connect with sattelite
