      Fairly sure a gigantic company like Samsung would've had enough money to get the dust-resistant certifications as well, if the phone was actually able to pass those tests, which it couldn't.

                    Are you sure about that?

                    Samsung specifically says, and I quote:

                    "Galaxy Z Flip5 & Z Fold5 both support IPX8 water resistance. IPX8 is based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes. Not advised for beach or pool use. Not dust-resistant."

                      The Z flip 5 also has some dust resistance too, Samsung just couldn't afford to get an IP rating for that.

                          A person who has in the market for either one of these phones wouldn't care about these miniscule things. You're arguing a specsheet.
                          Why would you trade a better camera, better cpu, and genuine support (the 2020 razr got a single year of updates....lol....) for 45 more hz and a .2 inch bigger screen? Why would you even want to play a game on a 3.6 inch screen?

                            The question is, Why the camera is still the same like 1st gen? Still no DeX too only the front screen larger

                              The Moto Razr is definitely a better device than the Flip 5 :
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra have bigger external screen 3.6 against 3.4 for the Flip 5
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra have better external quality screen 144Hz against 60Hz for the Flip 5
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra can run any applications form the external screen out of the box the Flip 5 has selected apps and widgets and need to pass through Samsung app.
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra can play high quality game from external due to the 144Hz
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra is certified ip52 dustproof and water rappelling against the Flip 5 only certified IPX8 water resistant (up to 1.5m) no dustproof
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra have better internal screen 165Hz against Flip 5 120Hz
                              The Flip 5 have a better CPU Snapdragon 8 gen 2 while the Razr 40 ultra have the Snapdragon 8 + gen 1 which fix the battery issue from Snapdragon 8 gen 1.
                              * The Razr 40 Ultra is a better flip phone because without opening the phone, you can use completely the without much difficulty while the Flip 5 need to be opened. While Samsung have better quality pictures with their software on the camera, Moto pictures are not bad they are improved and very acceptable for the flip fact form. Same other aspects Samsung can be better like the gorilla glass vicus 2 vs Razr gorilla glass vicus 1. Not to forget Samsung give 4 years update vs 3 years update from Motorola.
                              But as a Flip phone Motorola Razr 40 Ultra is more appealing and more playful

                                        Other than that, I'm an 8 gen 1 user, okay my phone has a 5000mAh battery, but it has to power a 7 inch QHD+ display, and it can still easily last me a day, this won't outlast it, no way, no chance.
