Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 certified in India

Samsung is readying its upcoming foldable phones for launch. The Galaxy Z Flip5 was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website with the model number SM-F731B, signaling its approaching availability.

The certification doesn't reveal any other details about the phone, however, the phone is to be announced alongside the Galaxy Z Fold5, and possibly the Galaxy Watch6 series on July 26, and become immediately available in India on the same day. India was in the first wave for the Galaxy Z Fold4 and Flip4.

As for specs, we expect the new Flip to premier a bigger cover display - a 3.4-inch 720x748px 60Hz panel with support for specially-optimized Google apps.

The rest of the specs are a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy, a familiar wide + ultrawide 12MP camera setup, 8GB of RAM, and either 128GB or 256GB of storage.

The battery capacity is expected to remain 3,700mAh with 25W charging support.
