Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 and Galaxy Z Fold7 pricing tipped
Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 are coming this summer, possibly powered by the company's own Exynos 2500 SoC. Chipset aside, you may have been wondering what to expect from these foldables in terms of pricing.
Today a tipster over on X has revealed this information, and it's a classic case of good news and bad news at the same time. The good news is that the Flip7 will cost as much as the Flip6 and the Fold7 will have an identical price to the Fold6.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6The bad news is that, well, see above. The price cuts we've all been expecting to see with foldable smartphones once they've become more mainstream still aren't happening. And sure, the sales numbers for foldables even today aren't anywhere near to those of flagship slab-style devices, but companies are moving a lot more foldables right now than they ever were.
And yet, pricing isn't budging. So if you want Samsung's top of the line (globally sold) foldables, you'll still need to shell out quite a lot of money. That is, of course, if this rumor pans out. Only time will tell.

You write that as if it's a widespread issue. This is the first Ive heard of it. That certainly doesn't happen on my phone.

Nope, doesn't happen. Meanwhile phones like Razr 50, Tecno Fold 2 will steal more of the market share from samsung. They are the best selling foldables wherever launched

I am hoping that the Fold 7 has had the fault fixed that has constantly plagued my Fold 6 from day 1.,.. nearly 7 weeks old and off to repair again. Front screen keeps freezing, I would of thought I would be offered a new phone or refund but does not...
