Samsung Galaxy Z Flip7 FE is coming in 2025, here are the details

Next year, Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z Flip7, the successor to the Flip6 which arrived this summer. But, according to a new rumor, it won't be the only flip phone Samsung releases in 2025. Instead, it will be joined by the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE.

This will be a cheaper version, which will most likely use the same display as the Flip7, but will have lower-end cameras and a different, less powerful SoC. Whether or not that compromise will sit well with people remains to be seen, but it most likely all hinges on the actual price difference.

For only $100-$200 most buyers probably won't care enough, but if it's even cheaper then it might give the entire foldable market a much-needed boost in terms of sales.

This information comes from the usually reliable Ross Young of Display Supply Chain Consultants. The Flip FE has been rumored earlier this month to have the Exynos 2400 SoC at the helm. That's the chip employed in some regions by the Galaxy S24 family.
