Many people would have bought that because of concept + "more" future proofiing despite its price.

Don't expect too much of this phone, it's just a toy stacked up by high technology. The folding screen is easily damaged.（As I have one 4G model，it just take one month the folding marks appear on the screen ）

Beautiful device. For those who have money to burn because it's very expensive.
Specs are not very good though for this price !!!! Not even a higher refresh rate panel. Camera quality is down.
It seems they start milking their customers to earn cash in order to prepare the next model next year with good cameras this time, but again, not accessible for the most.
It's going to take 2-3 years for such products to reach the "rest of us".

Samsung did a good job by using the latest chipset but the specs are bit disappointing: No ultra wide camera,no 3d TOF sensor,no card slot, small battery capacity,no Form of waterproofing and it has a 60Hz display.

It's too low to use the argument that "ohhh well the image processing doesn't even take advantage of that many megapixels", because we're well beyond 12 by now. The 865+ is capable of far better.
On top of the worse image processing thanks to the sensor, there's no 8K video! Because this sensor has under half the megapixels required for 8K.
And your argument about software is just bad. This isn't the Pixel with a chip dedicated towards making photos look magically better. This is a phone with a bad sensor. A good sensor can help a bad SoC but a good SoC can't help a bad sensor. And they aren't going to develop some next gen AI assisted image processing software for their guinea pig phone. Because that's all this is. It's not their main line.

To be brutally honest, both SD855+ and SD855 are still relevant in 2020. Heck, I can even say the same for SD845 and SD835.
