Duh! What is ultra thin with 5.6 mm? There are thinner folding phone than 5.6 mm.

          M. Pahuja, 04 Jul 2024I think this will be one of the most if not the best sellin... moreno reason to upgrade from 5.

The most expensive smartphone in year 2024.
            With 12 mp, 10mp, 8mp, cameras, 25 watts and 4400 mah only.

LOL such a very big display and only 4400mah battery! Blacklisted. 👎👎👎

                  25W is very bad

Well, I think they should have done better with this one. I mean there is no big upgrade over the Z Fold5.

Anonymous, 09 Jul 2024You can just open the phone, switch it to cover screen mode... moreYep, This is the only reason I've been staying with Samsung. They are the only brand that allows this function. For some strange reason you can't do this same thing on the Oneplus Open and Pixel Fold. The OP open and Pixel fold default back to the larger display every time. There was an update a little over half a year ago that added this functionality to the Fold series devices. My fold used to not be able to do this when I first bought it but that was almost 2 years ago now.

Core, 29 Jun 2024Probably getting this at least temporarily but dear God did... moreYou can just open the phone, switch it to cover screen mode with the phone open, and then use your apps. I do this all the time to use the main sensors. I just tested this with like 7 different apps to be sure and yes they all worked.

No upgrades compared to Fold5, RIP Fold6

Samsung has done it again, sitting on their laurels when their Fold series has lost some 40% market share because of their laziness and refusing to update their handset.

                            1. NO new cameras
                            2. 0.1inch wider screen lol, seriously....I was hoping min 6.5 inch outer screen
3 Unable to use outer screen with S-pen
4 No integration of S-pen silo makes it bulky when you have to use a case to house the pen!
5 same old 4400mah battery, why cant we have at least 5000MAh when every other major foldable has at least 5000Mah and even thinner than Samsung e.g Honor Magic V2/3

Until then not buying the Fold, I bet they will offer insane trade-in deals as pre-sales will just drop like last time by nearly 40% too!

                            RIP Z Fold6

I think this will be one of the most if not the best selling devices in foldable market. I dont know why people are still shouting about narrow outer screen when if you see from bezel to bezel width, it will be just 3mm narrower than Zenfone 10 and just around 5mm narrower than S24 base model and that is not a big gap considering the bezels have reduced considerably on ZF6 this time, yet it will be one of the most one-handed & premium build devices out there. I think we are lucky enough that we have variety of foldables in the market right now with different aspect ratios of outer screen where we can choose from. And what's the point of a foldable when you just want to use outer screen for almost everything? Samsung has its own design philosophy, different & unique from others.

I think this foldable version will rock at a later stage of its cycle as Samsung has almost hit the sweet spot with outer screen. Clearly Samsung is not that uneducated about the market wants that they are not following other competitors in the market (yet) and still keeping this design philosophy.

Bluering, 30 Jun 2024I ordered the Fold 5 but cancel the order mainly because th... moreThey won't do under screen fingerprint sensor cos they would need 2 of em. I personally prefer power Button sensor anyways.

I also doubt they add pen support to cover screen. I agree its awful to not have it from a work flow perspective but I can live with it. My biggest issue with Fold5 was the cover screen width and 100% useless tablet screen selfie cam, loved it otherwise and still looking forward to f6

I ordered the Fold 5 but cancel the order mainly because there is no under-display finger print sensor and you can't jot on the front screen. If they become available with the F6, I'll make the jump, otherwise, I will stay put with my S23 Ultra.

Probably getting this at least temporarily but dear God did I hate the Fold5 tablet screen selfie cam, it was absolutely worthless. Even the pre-smartphone era Nokias from 20 years ago had better cameras than that.

And no, using the main camera in selfie mode is not an option when there isnt a single app that supports using outside the camera app, so you cant use in half the everyday scenarios where you would take a selfie.

The vivo X Fold3 Pro demolishes this thing in every way. Better luck next year Samsung!

                                        Highly imperfect Fold series.

Most of the previously bought fold phones have developed major faults and have become non operational.

                                        Huge Loss. I felt deceived

I purchased samsung galaxy Fold 4 in September 2022. Used it for one year and in September 2023 I purchased iPhone. It was sparingly used after that, mostly it remained switched off and kept with proper care. To my surprise first its wifi stopped working in January 2024 and after two months its outer screen stopped working and very next day its main screed went blank. Now this phone has become a brick.

Most of samsung fold phone users are having similar type of experiences.

A huge amount was spent on this phone and it worked properly only far a year. Very sad on part of samsung and now I am hating samsung for making such a defective product.
