Samsung says a new Galaxy is coming on October 21, could be the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition

Samsung has announced it will unveil a new Galaxy on October 21. The brand hasn't revealed the product's name, but we'll likely see the rumored Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition unveiled next Monday. You can watch the video teaser shared by Samsung below.

It's also unclear if this upcoming foldable will be called the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition or the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition. However, a leaked image revealed the smartphone will be thinner than the standard Galaxy Z Fold6.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition is said to be 4.9mm thin when unfolded and 10.6mm thin when folded. Rumors claim it will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, a 200MP primary camera, and an IP48 rating. Its cover screen will have a 6.5" diagonal, while the folding display will measure 8" diagonally.

With the unveiling just four days away, there's little waiting to know all about this upcoming folding smartphone.
