Samsung Gear S3 officially launched in Canada

Himanshu, 24 November 2016

Less than a week after launching it in the United States, Samsung has officially launched its latest Tizen-powered Gear S3 smartwatch in Canada. Both classic as well as frontier variants have been made available, carrying a CAD 469 (around $347) price tag each.

The wearable is available for purchase from the tech giant's online store as well as Experience stores in the country. Several major retailers will also be carrying it.

"The Gear S3 smartwatch merges style and traditional watch design with the latest innovation technology," said Paul Brannen, COO and Executive Vice President, Samsung Electronics Canada. "We are excited to continue to expand our wearable portfolio that together, with the Galaxy S7 family of devices, helps Canadians truly live connected."

The South Korean company also stressed that it will continue selling the Gear S2 in Canada.

Apparently the Samsung store is still not selling it yet in BC, Canada. I am on the pre-order list and still have not been notified. Was there yesterday and still none in stock and officially not released.

TAG Heuer doesn't make watches. They design them. The Connected has no commonalities to the S3.

Would be even more cool if anyone had stock. Best Buy says "maybe in a couple of weeks". Amazon.ca has no S3 link.
