I've been borrowing the Nexus S from work for the last week. The design is so slick. the thing i've notice is how amazing the screen quality is. Even though it doesnt have a higher resolution than the Iphone. i personally believe the contrast and brightness is exceptional.

The Only let down about this phone is:
- Limited widgets (compared to HTC Sense)
- No HD Video
- Camera/Video HUD is amatuer compared to rest of the phone layout

This phone might be a bit outdated compared to all the phones shown in the MWC 2011 conference.

I bought this phone after much debate with so many other great options from Sammy & LG coming I decided that I liked the design and the stock Android interface with Gingerbread already on it. I have to say I've not been disappointed! The only downsides have been the camera would take some pics with a flash and then the saved version would look as if it snapped the pic right before the flash went off. Weird. It would also be nice if the phone had a removable micro sd card, but 16 Gig is fine for me now. I don't use my phone as a music player and all the pics are uploaded to photobucket.
I think the overall design is the sexiest phone out though! I love the curved screen! And the Super AMOLED is just gorgeous!

Nonsence or Nexus, 14 Feb 2011what sort of phone is this, camera rubish, no external memo... moreLooks like your the one who is not in the right state of mind, the Nexus S design is one of the best designs till date, and because this phone is plastic, it's pretty light. Why do you want physical keys? Most phones have physical keys only for going back or into a menu, if you want a key just for that purpose, you are pretty stupid. The camera is 5mp camera, it's pretty good, most people wouldnt need photos beyond facebook resolutionvso why do you need a better cam? And if you want better video recording I suggest you buy a digi cam.

Inder, 11 Feb 2011Anyone using nexus s, can pls tell me how much free ram the... moreThe problem with galaxy s is not the ram but the RFS filesystem Samsung chose for that phone. That's the reason for lag/stutter in menus.
Nexus s uses ext⁴ and even with 150-180mb free ram its butter smooth. Its butter smooth even when you have multiple apps open and less than 100mb free.

Nonsence or Nexus, 14 Feb 2011what sort of phone is this, camera rubish, no external memo... moreAs owner of galaxy s, current owner of Desire HD and Nexus s, I can tell you that it feels absolutely fantastic in hand. Much much better than galaxy s. All major flaws on SGS are ironed out. The curved screen with anti smudge coating makes life much easier.
Anyone expecting anything more than vanilla Android from Google branded phone needs a reality check. As for divx, just use rockplayer. Plays xvid+divx smoothly.

what sort of phone is this, camera rubish, no external memory, plastic back, no divix etc, all touch screen (not a single middle button),
feels cheap and looks cheap and you pay for it £432 sim free!!
why should anyone in the right mind get this phone?

Google, like the products. But please tell me what my this phone has that my HTC Desire with 16GB card does not have. I know about the 2.2 or 2.3 difference but anything more.
Will this one only be on sale again in US-UK-Canada and after a few months it seams nobody likes it 6 months after that the rest of the world??

Make it available across the globe and maybe it stands a chance. Still know my wives HTC Desire HD has better specs

Don't bag the google S phone. These other phones dual core etc are for nerds. Not meaning that in a bad way, but it's true. If you want maximum gigabytes etc.. Wait.. And you will always wait!! Cause there is always something better and better in the phone world, just around the corner.

The Google is for the people who want everything to be fashionable AND tech. Not extremes of tech advancement.

Like some guy on here over clocked his phone.. really? crysis on the phone or calling overseas lol..

I like this phone, Mileston2 looks good too..
