dont listen to the negative comments about this phone, ive had it a week and i love it upgraded from the galaxy s and allthough they may look similar that is were the similaritys end !!!!!! vanilla android is fantastic and its super fast, you also get updates before any one else awsome.

I got this on Day One and had doubts on how it would be but I have to Say Google has done extremely good Job in 2.3 the Phone is Awesome and the fastest Mobile Device I have used yet.. Initially I was wondering why the curved surface but later using it in landscape mode I realized that it helps you type better and feels good in hand especially Landscape mode..Every thing is good with this Phone (Good Battery, Smart OS, Blazing Fast Hardware, Very bright and Elegant Screen) also this Phone is worth more than what you pay (the best part) and Google Branded.

That phone is the galaxy s with raw Android other than that it was a disappointment I took mine back will not pay full price for that junk

This phone is great! I upgraded from my Nexus 1, and do not miss it whatsoever. The phone is blazing fast, and the look of it is just gorgeous. I have no complaints with the software and/or features because the developers are already hard at work to add more to this masterpiece (thank you Cyanogen).
These days people expect too much from their phones. You should appreciate the fact that something so small does so much anyway. The Nexus S doesn't need an hdmi out port or trackball or any of the other un necessary crap the other phones have, its fine the way it is. Some people get upset that the phone didn't have subtle changes like the iphone, but oh well. I don't want a device that looks exactly the same as it progresses.

i was playing with this phone yesterday and i cannot how it differs from the galaxy s. its basically the same phone. Galaxy S will get the new android at some point. flash for the camera is not a deal breaker for me. Nobody goes on vacation and intends to use their phone for pictures. In general buying this phone is a waste i feel. i would rather wait until spring next year and get better dual core phones.

yO! I already own a Galaxy S and I love it but this one has LED flash at least and I really enjoy Photography.
so guys basically do you notice an improvement in that aspect? can you recomend me the best android camera phone?

actually this phone does have noise cancellation, its in the software not hardware. hey there is a google page for the phone that tells u everything about it so stop making up stuff. everyone i have talked to on it tells me how clear i sound and i hear everyone just as good. this phone is simply awesome. Not a phone out to date i would put over it.

ric, 25 Dec 2010I got the Nexus S for a day. It's faster and responsive. Ov... moreit is true the Nexus S does not have noise cancelation. I had Galaxy S and had big problem by not having Noise Cancelation. In noisy area the other side has a hard time to hear you. The other problem not include the External SD Card,No Radio like other Android and no capture HD Video.

[deleted post]Big Advantage of buying pure Google Nexus is the update which happen by Google would happen immediately and no waiting for 3 to 9 months from Sony, HTC or Samsung like it happen with Sony Xperia.
i believe it would be more reliable than buy others like I had problem with Samsung Galaxy Freezing, reset, lagging and so on. I used desire for while no so bad but Nexus one was preforming better.
The problem with Nexus S is do not take Micro SD externally so you can not load music and put in the phone. I have no idea why did not include external Micro SD.
