this phone was rushed. it was not perfected. 2.3 gingerbread has many glitches at the moment and this phone does not support 4g capability or a memory card slot or hd video recording. a front camera does make up for all of those losses.

Google Nexus S = Samsung Galaxy S - HD video capability - external memomry + flash light + Gingerbread (assuming it to be on galaxy soon ) + pure android !
i m confused ! Should i wait for Nexus S to be launched or go and buy Galaxy S ?

Hello all.
The Google Nexus S has already received its first over the air upgrade - we'll break the news to you now: it's not Android Honeycomb.
The new file from Google apparently updates bugs and upgrades to the latest version of maps - although we're not sure how much it changes if you already have the new fancy Google Maps for Android version 5 already downloaded.
Looking through the internal changes over on XDA Developers Forum, it seems the only changes are to the framework and Maps programs, so this isn't going to be a massive overhaul - although early indications show a slight lag in the browser appears to have been fixed.

This phone is wayyy over-rated . I am using Mytouch4g atm. and i think that the only advantage of this phone is the LED screen . It does not have any camera button , hTc Sense UI is great , no SD slot , not sure but probably it feels same as Galaxy S ( cheap plastic ) , Video quality is poor , No color selection ( only black ) , No Radio ....

can anyone explain why some people are saying that this is the"iphone killer"?this phone doesn't even have the capability to shoot HD video.when you say "iphone killer" it should top all major feature of the iphone and one is its HD video.Before you say something or claim here you should do a thorough research first before you post such a thing.

pre-ordered this phone today. hope it'll arrive soon =)
the haters are going to hate, but i think they made a good phone. the only thing that stopped me from buying a galaxy s was the lack of flash on the camera. i was a bit perturbed by the fact there's no sd card slot, but i feel 16 gb to be fairly ample, really.
anyway, just my two cents.

This isn't just another Galaxy S.
While the hardware is completely from Galaxy S, the software isn't. It has Android 2.3 Gingerbread and most importantly, TOUCHWIZ UI is removed. It's the Stock Version UI.
