I always prefer 3g network
That's y I haven't check the Wi-Fi.
its new advanced keyboard is damn good with auto spelling checker
and dictionary is damn good.i love the screen rotation. Ur running apps looks quiet small as compared to gingerbread. Notification bar is damn advanced .I created my own movie in a all new movie studio app.sorry guys but I didn't find any fault in the people's app, it works fine, using new avast Antivirus beta which is free, and a new extend battery app
Everything works fine but I can't find any changes in the camera, same as before, I didn't get the face unlock as well .my home screen is also not rotating in a landscape mode as I seen in the custom Rome.sometimes hangs and comes outwith a bug but except these things, all is well,,,, I mean they r good .

I have received a notification regarding the update to ICS but now its not there and I am not able to do it. How do I get thye notification again for update.I don't wanna do it manually when its available form Google OTA

Only app not working on ICS is viber. Everything else is amazing. Ics just brought back life to my tired SGNS

Wifi issue with ICS4.0.3:
I updated 2.3.6 to ICS4.0.3 yesterday over Wifi..with the qatar SIM card in it.. after updating, the wifi doesn;t work.. was strucking my head for solution..suddenly i got idea of inserting other SIM cards..when i insert UAE SIM card, it works fine..so there may be problem of the SIM card which was present during update..be careful guys...;)

hi guys... i hav updated to ICS4.0.3.. just 160MB file download...and 5mins to update the same.. after that the startup screen was amazing..
theme & layout is gud..new widgets added..new look for gtalk,gmail,etc,..g+ & messenger app added..
but.. here are few problems..
wifi is not working..
gtalk is showing only 3-4online friends..also for every chat, the notification ringtone is ringing, eventhough chat window is active..
phone book is not auto-detect for numbers with&without countrycode..

Updated 2 ICS 4.0.3 yestrday manually.. its awsm guys!! Go 4 it.. I dnt kno y sm ppl think its nt safe.. d link given is d official google android's link.. only d diffrnce is dat u'l hav 2 dwnld d updt file n instl it manuly.. ders no risk in it watsoevr.. I've updtd my cell n I'm really happy n satisfied wid d performance..

That said, if you have the slightest of idea what you are doing, updating manually should be a cake walk. BTW, has the Indian Nexus S started getting the OTA update? I'm still waiting for it :( I keep taping on the system update tab but it always shows "system up to date"

It's not safe because you have to perform it manually, and why to do this while Google has just began updating their nexus s gsm phones.
And today morning I got the update via OTA. And just updated my nexus s to 4.0.3.
In just 5 min.....so simple rather than installing rom by plugging ur nexus s to the computer. It was so easy and simple, I think every nexus s user has got the update.
