justsaw dis fone n am lovinit already.the model looks perfect n am hopin the large size doesn't cause the fone's price to b beyond my grasp.also am i seein things, why is it 65k colors when d i300 is 262k, cud there b a mistake somewhere? hmmm.. any way, gr8 work samsung.

I dont know why only Gigabyte has windows mobile5.0 with 256K. No one else has it.Even the old windows 2003 supports 256k. Does anyone know?

gigabyte in asia has with mobile 5.0 and 265k for more than 1 year...so it should be 265k for i310...and it's been comfirm

yep 66 it is 65K. there is no one out there with 256K and windows mobile 5.0. Silly microsoft.
I heard Gigabyte is making one with 256k and windows mobile 5.0.

wow,the SAMSUNG company is very powerful with this products.this phone has 8GB!!!! it has a microdrive,but hhas no EDGE, 3G or WLAN ,but i love this phone!:)

Congratulations!!! It is earth-shaking news to have a phone which have a 8gb memory. It is so fantabulous I felt so very happy.It is good job done for samsung. Keep on what ur are doing to have a very fantastic phone

in my opinion i like the design of this better as the nokia n91 is bigger and heavier. don't get me wrong but i like the features of the nokia n91 but it is the size and weight of it. imo i don't like the shape of the nokia n91. if the samsung i300 played AAC and OGG files i'm pretty sure that this will too. as long as it has EDGE i don't mind if it has no 3G or Wifi. At least the internet will have a faster speed now than on the internet on the i300. tv out will be great for parties.

Even if you get software to play AAC+ on da i310 it will:
1). slow the phone
2). Da ID3 v1.0 & ID3 v2.0 tagging will not be supported (Very Long Names, whereas NOKIA its supports it automatically)
3). It will freeze the song sometime coz samsung are not good phones wen it comes to OS system.
IT DOESNT STAND A CHANCE AGAINST N91

Actually da future will be AAC+ v2.0, coz its better than MP3, WMA, OGG.
Coz
MP3 CD Quality --> is 128kbps 44100hz, Stereo
AAC+ CD Qaulity -> is 32kbps 44100Hz, Stereo
Look at the diffrence between the two & AAC+ will be used in future phones espcially NOKIA.
Other mobile dont support this yet wat a shame....

you can put programs in it to Support AAC,AAC+ v1.0,AAC+ v2.0,eAAC,MP3,OGG and other types of files.

sorry, didn rad ur whole post. ok... so aac2.0 can compress music quite well. but the space isnt only for music... pictures too. video...alll those crap u keep in ur phone

Ah ha..and I wonder who will go though such hassle to convert a regular mp3 to AAC+. Frankly 8GB is quite a lot of space..and chances are, not many people will be storing them as AAC+ at all.
ACC+ might help save some space in ur ugly N91. With this i310 its' just fine. period.

Da Samsung is crap phone although it has 8GB it wont be able to store as many Stereo Music as the N91 although the N91 has 4GB due to the following reason:
i310
Supports AAC,WMA,MP3
N91
Supports AAC,AAC+ v1.0,AAC+ v2.0,eAAC,MP3,OGG
With AAC+ v2.0 you can compress ur music in Stereo at 32kbit/s, 44100Hz & it will be the same as standard 128kbps, 44100Hz, Stereo. With this format (AAC+ v2.0) you can store 2 songs per 1MB were as Samsung i310 doesnt stand a chance at all no way near to the N91.
