I had u use both samsung i450 and F400......
F400 is a better choice for music...
The speaker on F400 more louder and dynamic than i450.
also had 3.2 mp..
i450 have a poor image quality nad poor speaker volume....trust me.....i'm not lying

Hi This is pretty Immature review as i bought the phone yesterday ...
Music Quality is pretty good... not loud though(i suggest in ear earphones for best experience)
I like when the equalizers are set to 3d dynamic
Battery is not bad Some of the people here say battery is really poor i didn't found it to be true. it may not as good as old non 3g phones though
If you can control the wheel its pretty neat
Integration with windows media player is good,but for random tracks.... it makes you create play list easily, but you cant use that play list. if you covert that play list into m3u by some converter and then use it with the samsung supplied software.
That 3D sound thing is cool but there is a different file format for those 3d songs which we cant get...
Camera is average ... ( i actually don't care about the camera i have my digicam for that)
phone gets restarted if you play with the slides too much, for me it did twice , may be its because it changes views in that {horizontal or vertical view}but its so fast in restarting first time i did that i didn't even notice it...
If you are using your own earphones, and a call comes you can listen to the conversation with the same and talk also by keeping the phone near to your mouth i think because of that we dont have to juggle a lot between headset provided and our earphones....(i really wish they would have given better headset this one hurts my ear and quality is bad too...)
Till now my verdict this phone is for people who are die hard Music junkies ... if you are not u will see many flows in it
I will write soon as soon as i find something else (for me buying it was good experience)
I owe this phone's review to this site and people who have given earlier reviews... Thank you all

I hat this phone so much, I feel compelled to write as many bad reviews as possible. This phone would only work on loudspeaker virtually from day 1! Very inconvenient. What's more it took 2 months to repair! Then, a few weeks later the same problem reoccurred. Yes, it looks pretty and it plays music and has a nice camera, but if you're buying a PHONE, not an ipod or a camera, you're buying a really bad phone!

PIECE OF JUNK! I've had 2 VGA chips fail in this phone - each time the phone would only work on loudspeaker, making it impossible to have a private conversation. The loudspeaker itself is not as clear as a simple Nokia 3210 loudspeaker - whilst you may hear reasonably clearly, you come across as distorted and hard to understand to the person on the other end.
This plays music beautifully, takes great photos BUT, it's a CRAP phone! You might get away with it if you're a social user, but, do not trust it for regular business use. WHAT A PILE OF CRUD!!!

I had this phone for about a year now. It serves it's purpose but I think the S60 nokia platform is not stable and as fast as the Samsung platform. Take the F400 and the i450 to compare. When you access to the Gallery (like Nokia called it), i450 is dead slow to download all pix captured. The F400 comes with a wonderful speed to download all pix in the file manager. Sound quality is good but when playing vocals the amps can't support high pitch sound quality like the F400 can. The camera for i450 is the only winning tool compare to the F400. Even as the F400 has 3.2 mega pix it is too sensitive to motion causing the image blur, but the i450 takes picture with a 1-2 seconds lag but it is not as motion sensitive as the F400. Over all I like this phone very much except for the batt life span. It lacks the F400 life span. When you take pictures and play the music, batt life goes out very, very, very fast.

a) I havn't tried any animated wallpapers yet, so can't comment on that.
b) This phone doesn't have any Slider Sound.
c) Yes, we can download and can use Symbian S60 v3 themes on it.

ppl ive had this phone for around 7 months now....and its been a good 7 months....nice phone fits well in hand, not the prettiest but its not ugly either....
Firsly its strong points... great solid software.... freezes once in two months or sth like that so i mean its stable compared to a few other s60v3s ive seen....great keypad...and the music player is great....its not too loud but with decent headphones it beats my ipod....and its got the sonic experience, u just need to hav the right headphones....great compatibility and customisation....almost all forms of connectivity....bearable display....the usual symbian features work like a charm,which includes meassaging, organiser, browser and everything else...
Performance is quite good....and im comparing with my n95 here....its definitely quicker with a 2 gb card....almost full that is....i wudnt comment on the scroll wheel as its view is quite opinionated....but not bad to hav....its speaker is betr than my friends n81 although stereo wud be nice.... and the front keypad is simpler than most n series phones...
The baad....no wifi , its the deal breaker.....gps needs to be external....and the worst thing abt it is its battery life....i previously had a w850 and it lasted a week on avg use....this phone goes 1 and a half days at less than avg use....i wud like to comment that i use loads of gprs....music and stuff but its unacceptable for a mutimedia centred phone....if i change it, itll be for its stupid battery life....and its camera is poor for the usual 2 megapixels...i know abt the megapixel myth but it just doesnt perform as well as other phones in the same genre....
Conclusion....neat set with loads of features falls short on battery life

Phone works great for the first month then starts freezing to a point where you have to pull the battery out to turn it off.
* Sound quality is quite low for a dedicated music phone. Alot of standard handsets like the slim line Nokia 6500 classic for eg are way louder (quite embarrassing).
* Hearing quality is low when on a call.
* Battery Life isnt to good
I personally would'nt recommed the phone only for the simple reason that im experiencing alot of problems with mine currently, might be an isolated case though. Perhaps ive got 1 from the "Poop" batch lol. But its given me enough grief to want to throw my Samsung I450 in the garbage and get me a Nokia.
