Hi guys..I bought this phone recently and would say that its a decent phone to have if you are not bothered about WiFi. I do not understand why ppl compare this with nokia. If you wanna go for nokia then y do you even bother to post your views here? The phone is good however there are some cons.. One is the poor cam quality which I did not expect from samsung and another is radio. Although I have a creative player to take care of music but samsung has always been producing good 2mp phones with decent radio sound.. Dnt know what went wrong here. Other features are good and the phone feels good to hold. I did not find many probs getting use to the key pad and typing messages. The bulid quality is solid and the phone responds well. Any person who just wants a phone and is not looking for those Hitech gadgets should go for it. Its a nice music phone however with a bad cam... you would get good pics outdoors, but at night and with low light... u just wouldn't feel like taking pics...flash is useless!! Signal strength is excellent and voice too. Samsung could have done better, however for a person who only wants a "Phone" and not something else... this would work just fine. FYI for ppl who compare it with Nokia... the after sales service here in india sucks when it comes to nokia... although I would not deny that nokia stands out, but I have had a real bad exp with nokia and would not like to try a nokia phone again. After all a phone is a phone and you cannot expect everything out of it.

SYMBIAN SOUNDS GOOD

The best music phone in symbian family, no one compare until now. Congratulation to Samsung.

Has anyone tried 8 GB MicroSD (HC) with i450. It supports 4GB MicroSD (HC) but everybody is absured about 8 GB one. Also anyone knows how to update phone software as it need something like Nokia Software Updater like Samusung PC Suit is actually Nokia PC Suit.

Have you gone mad. Camera quakity of i450 is no way near as compared to N81. You must be talking about audio quality instead I suppose.

I has big surprised from i450. When I connected the headset from my original N91(with 3.5 mm connector). The result was absolutely amazing. A lot better than my N91. Samsung, u are ROCKS !!!

Forget D820 as it has no comparision with i450. Battary life of this phone is damn good and gives no less then 5 days standby if you dont listen music and use phone moderatly. It gives about 12-18 Hrs music playback depending upon volume in headphones. Use Sennehiser MX 160 earbuds for optimal results as it can provide loud sound at low volume saving battary. Alternatevly you can use following specs for headphones. Impedance 32 Ohms, Sound Pressure Level 109db/1Vrms and a decent frequency response of 20Hz to 20 KHz. Note that such headphones are not easly available in market. Mostly they have SPL of 106db/1Vrms which is 0.7 times louder (That means lesser) then above and are less then 32 Ohms in impedance which means waste of power and hence battary. So be careful. The best thing you enjoy is iPod Sound Hardware with exceptional audio quality, Nokia S60 OS and Samsung PC Suit for which is actually Nokia PC Suit. Worst is camera and mono FM radio.

The N81 is better, it now has Menu Animations and Transitions, meaning its UI looks better, has Wi-Fi, has a 16M colour screen, has the musick keys and remote control, has support for Full Desktop YouTube and other Flash8 websites, has Ngage, has more RAM for multitasking, has a faster CPU, can be used as a Wi-Fi modem with a PSP, PS3, iPod TOUCH, or any other Wi-Fi device, has UPnP via Wi-Fi to share files with ANY wi-fi device eg. TV, PC, PS3, LapTop, another phone etc. . . Sorry but i450 has either little or none of the above. :-)

And i450 doesn't support multi tasking, it will lag and crush down.

and what u mean that n81 is fingerprint magnet, u can clean it

Nokia battery last longer than Samsungs

And about flash user interface when u slide the upper side of i450, i didn't like it

N-GAGE GAMES, I450 LAGS WHEN RUNNING THEM UNLIKE N81 AT ALL

N81 HAS MORE MEMORY SPACE, IT HAS WIFI which i think more efficient than 3G if u don't have credit

i450 dont run flah lite 3.0 unlike n81

Used N81 before i450.
Samsung i450 are good looking and better build quality. Nokia N81 are heavy, bulky and has fingerprint magnet problem.
Same symbian s60 but i450 user interface are better looking, the icon are pretty nice. The system are fast when u do multitasking and never lag or restart. N81 are fast too, but user interface are quite boring icon like traditionally nokia s40. Samsung i450 also have flash user interface when u slide the upper side. I think this is a strong point for i450 revolutionary user interface. U can act like DJ on the smooth scrolling navi wheel to browse or playing multimedia side of i450. I definitely enjoyed it.
If u compare the camera quality, i450 absolutely better than N81.
Another reason why change to i450 are HSDPA connectivity.

I search the review on other site, result are : Samsung i450 are always better design, quality & performance then Nokia N81. Why anonymous & no names always said N81 better ?
I afraid u are another nokia fanboys.
