This phone is very loud even though not as loud as some other phones I agree... but it concentrates more on quality. The sound quality on this phone is unparalleled and unmatched by any other phone on the market. People who understand and appreciate good sound quality will love this phone. I always gave this phone rave reviews and I love it but the camera is a failure I agree. It is an out and out music phone and a great one at that.

Seriously even though this is a Symbian series 60 phone, this phone does not give you the nokia look...i have been using this phone for 2 months now and i was a great SE fan...(Walkman series) I thouught nothin could convinve me to shift from SE but i started using this phone and i really feel samsung is a better company than SE or Nokia when it comes to benifits of the mobile or after sales service.....................BOTTOMLINE SAMSUNG I 450 ROCKS............THIS WAS THE BEST DESICION OF MY LIFE

Pepsi, 01 Jun 2008Looks cheap and nasty. N81 looks better and is better.This is a great 'phone. Just a pity that the accessories and back-up from Samsung sucks. I have been using it for 6 weeks now. I take photo's every day as its part of my job and listen to music all the time while I'm working. I have been a nokia fan for most of the time but since I bought my 1st Samsung(a V 500) I will never buy a Nokia again.Any one who dislikes this 'phone just has sour grapes.Truly a good, relaible 'phone for surfing etc. The Microsoft Symbian adds to the pleasure of owning this handset! With all those posts , I just wanted to ask one question.
now after all the tests and reviews it appered that the i450 is better in music department(RMAA tests) and I want to buy a music phone and dn't care about wi-fi or games , I'am a hardcore gamer but if I want to play games on the go whould I play n-gage with asphalt 3d or play Burnout on my psp with way better graphics and battery life lol.
anyways my only question is for the people that tried both n81 and i450 , Which sounds loader on the headsets and only the headsets,of corse thats besides the quality thats we all know its for samsung.

ive been usin i450 for a month... came to the conclusion that the speaker is prety gud whn u slide it to the music player side.... the headphones dont impres me at al... not even other 3.5 jak headphones.... SE is stil the best at output... the bass in the headphone sucks... i lik the overall built of the phone... feels solid.. dusnt slip whn u hav sweaty hands... the camera isnt gud at al... the camera is realy bad... and no WLAN.... i stil say the media player of SE is beter... the pic view of nokia N-Series is beter... samsung had a gud display... but this phone dusnt prove that.... its gud at first but u can start to hate it easily..

AJ, 19 Jun 2008Is this one is a Music phone? how is the sound quality of t... moresound quality is awesome if ur are lisining through headphone but i am very disappointed about the loudspeaker it is not as good as it claims N73 M is better than this and it can play upto 8hrs music so battery has to be charged daily

i have this samsung i450 since May 25 2008.. sound quality is superb w/ my philips earphone. it goes also w/ the symbian s60 OS thats why its easy to use.. camera is good also anyway im a music lover thats why i dont care at camera at all. its memory has a faster reading compare to the other one. for me all i have to say is i love my samsung i450.it my baby ^_^

Does the i450 support the use of micro SDHC memory? If so, has anyone tried an 8gb card?
PS I thought all micro 4gb memory was SDHC.

well according to me the cell phone iz fab but there iz a problem with the camera its not good at all and the sound iz v good if you have headphones on without it its good for nothing.

The sound qulity is realy good . Every beat sounds different and i as surprised by the sonic experience. And one thing don't go by brand this is the smartphone if you are die
