In this 2 weeks time using the i450, I found the clarity of ICE speaker are very loud and clear, minus the BASS. For music fan, I recommend LCG Jukebox for S60 3rd edition which I found better than it's music player (with customize equaliser and so on).
Please bear in mind that this phone operates in Symbian 9.2 S60 3rd OS so the entire 'feeling' and UI are the SAME as any NOKIA N-Series. As well as ALL softwares and games. The Negative side: All Infinite Dreams games are NOT COMPATIBLE with I450 (K-Rally, Superminers and Skyforce) due to the difference type of CPU and Symbian version (9.2 FP1). Kaspersky Mobile 7 also not compatible too.

I have the samsung i450 and i like it but
i really wish that Samsung will fix the equaliser to speaker by a simple program file that can be downloaded and installed in the phone SOON
Can we all push them to do it.....just write in to Samsung.

i got the phone a few weeks ago and all i can say is it is ok. befor i had a sony eric 300i the i450 is no doupt better but i was hopping for more. who ever says the phone does not look nice has never seen it this phone can suit any person. the double slide is really cool ,only it moves way to easy, like it just slides open in your pocket, this phone is cool and i do recomend it, this and the n81 they both in the same legue. but i also whant 2 know where is a great place to get games for free?

I ALMOST bought this phone!!! but i got so disappointed that it copied N95 or nokia's interface!! from themes to menu etc :(
Sad why cant samsung innovate its own ..

Yet another slider from samsung.....wait....it got symbian os,flash player,hsdpa(3.6 mbps)and document viewer.jeez.........it rocks.

Jit, you can have your own dlded games the and to the other dude the loudspeaker is much louder than my friends e51 even on 3/4 volume and is also louder than the n81 but n81 has a speaker on either side so the sound is projected out different ways

why is the screen colour only 256K??

The sound is beautifull,samsung phones have the best sound (thats it)thats why i bought this phone,de symbian like a nokia en the sound of a samsung,no nokia,no SE,no LG,no motorola has the sound of a samsung

i just want to clear a few things, first, i hate to say it, but the xpress music range is merely a branding strategy..their sound quality are ok but not superb..its just that they look cool and musicy and are designed to facilitate music playback( like the navi-slide in nokia 5610 )

Yes you can use the themes that are made for the 3rd version symbian phones 9.1.
And yes you can use a mp3 as a ringtone for sms
You can use the same applications as for the N73,N95 etc...(symbian)
