salma, 23 Jun 2010my track ball is not working.i cant scroll it down.but the ... morehey its happening to mine as well, there might be 2 possibilities. one is that its just dirt like someone else mentioned and ur lucky, the other is that one of the rollers that actually gets and transfers the trackball action is busted. I tried to clean mine and found that out so im praying that there are replacement trackballs.

robert claver, 21 Jun 2010i have here i550w... my keypad flex broken....all numbers a... moreman, samsung's support for this set was rubbish, so i wont be surprised that they told you so.
find an external maintenance center, i think there are alot of chinese parts for this mobile.
i myself bought a chinese battery for mine, lol it was worst than the original one.

i have here i550w... my keypad flex broken....all numbers and menu not working....and i also there in samsung center here in philippines....but they said dont have their keypad flex or ribbon stock....any body here can give me an idea to fix this problem?thanks in advance for those who want to help me...godbless...

cos there is a difference between the 2, and it's not only me who's having problems with the battery...

i have this phone for a year and a half now... did not get any problems so far, it said on its specs it can only handle 4gb memory card but i have an 8gb memory! i dunno whats wrong with your battery life but mine can last for 2-4 days! depending on the usage and i text and listen to music alot... had a good features with its symbian OS you can install "almost" all sis and jar programs... has a great camera and nice wide screen. the only thing that "sucks" in this phone is the trackball and Damn! that trackball sucks! overall this phone is good but not that great... cheers!

after one year and few months of buying this set here's what i concluded:
powerful full option set, great display, great video and audio qualities...
unfortunately, u don't have time to enjoy all these options (battery life is worst of the worst).
trackball also suck, but u can manage.
i do regret buying this set all because of the battery, yet i've learnt what to buy in the future.
comparing to many sets this one opened video files that no other set nokia, sony ericsson, HTC could open.
anyways it was a good experience like i said to know what to buy in the future.
