I think is normal for a application which use sound. Why is doing that,i don't know. Cheers!

What you have to do is to turn on the gps and with gps on ,turn off your phone and on again.This is one way to use the gps on this mobile.You have another option,a better one: go to android market and download GPS BOOSTER or GPS OPTIMISATION by Octy.With those programs you can use the gps without restarting your phone. I think is a software problem. Cheers!

Hey people,
I have problem in using GPS for locating my phone's location.(I have turned the feature on, standing out with visible clear cloudless sky, the icon of GPS blinks)...
What is not allowing me to get connected?

Hi all,
I'm using this phone for more than a month now and i m satisfied with the features and performance.
But sometimes when i use facebook app, the phone gives out the shut down tone and when i open more than 6-8 apps and use heavy memory crunching apps like gallery it restarts.
I'm not sure whether its normal for an android to behave like that. Anyone out there have the same problem???
Should i update anything to get out of this?
Please advice me...

hi i am using galaxy 5 for a month now and totally satisfied with this phone. touch is amazing and its completely feature loaded, battery is overall good but if you continuously use internet on phone on 3g network then it gives about 2-3 hrs. of backup
camera is average. browsing on phone is nice and lot of useful free apps are also available from android market. you can also play avi files by using rockplayer. overall looks of phone are also very nice, display is quite good
my opinion go for this phone without thinking twice(unless camera is your priority)

The solution is manually install the android market

In my phone i5503 there is no android markt icon. I hv a gmail account signed in. still when i try to download any applications from sites like android freeware.mobi,it shows u hv no permission to visit this page.. can u pls explain in detail..

With moderate use, it easily gives me 3 days and with hevey internet usage, gps usage it still gives me minimum 1-2 days. Last weekend we travelled to Mahabaleshwar from Pune with EDGE and GPS on whole day, battery was still showing 55% at the end of the day...so thats a great battery life for a smartphone.

could anyone please tell How Much FREE RAM is available free after booting up. Galaxy 3 gives about 140MB Free after startup.
