especially you playing game or GPS, stop the 3rd party launcher if you wanna save battery

can some1 tell its battery life and performance when it comes to music playback, video playback, games, wifi, gps.

im using galaxy 5 right now it is my first touch screen phone, im not quite enjoyed with it's battery performance, i charge my phone almost every night, or am i just not used to using phones like this. i dont know it's battery life when it comes to mp3 and games. Another problem is the internal memory, all applications are installed only in the internal memory, you cannot install applications through the sd card, unless you will root the phone, i havent tried it either. i see many people are asking how to change the themes, like others said, you will need to install 3rd party application, like LauncherPro, ADW, etc. using those, you can change icons, change the dock, the drawer and other blablabla.

Is there any offline calendar suitable for this mobile phone. I don't want to use the calendar of gmail which is the one installed on the device. Thanks.

yes videos can be played in full screen. and if you want different formats to be played like avi xvid divx mkv vob then install players like rockplayer or arcmedia or vplayer just search them in market and install.

It can easily ha... morea lot of video formats are not playing...it plays some mp4/mpeg4 files and rejects some files of the same format....ant understand this, even i have tried using rock player universal....plz solve it and suggest some gud video player.

Android is multitasking system, can running few application on the same time with minimal lag............
For symbian, confirm like like hell if running few apps together

Its super cool; definitely better than the iphone.

Hey everybody!!
This is an awesome phone. It can easily handle videos even at 720 x 480 resolution. Even the sound in the videos is really loud. Im using SoundMagic earphones.And the sound quality is awesome for music!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cool!! Shake feature for changing music is awesome( Its a free app). Decent battery life. Ull get cool motion sensor games to play in it too.
SWYPE feature for messaging is another treat!!
Ask 4 any doubts.
