I used this (galaxy-5) phone from last 11 months but i steel waiting for the new version 2.2.... ?
when i get android 2.2 foryo for the galaxy-5(GT I5503) in INDIA officially... . ? or is any other country will get it officially by Samsung...... ?

The safest way to upgrade this phone is to download Samsung Kies and that will upgrade for you.

amir yo can upgrade it installing CyanogenMod for Galaxy 5, search it on madteam.co, its better than an android stock rom, much faster, stable ,etc. CyanogenMod its and Android 2.3.4 edit, and currently they are wotking on CyanogenMod 9 wich comes whith Android 4.0.3 for Galaxy 5, there is an alpha version uploaded, but it has some bugs but it works!
