Yes the phone has wi fi and its android 2.2 and for 50 pound at carphonewarehouse its a great phone at this price and I don't think you will get a better phone for this money

great phone. great value for money. And the Cyanogen Mod 7.1 makes it even better. I just love this phone. I am glad I bought it.

need some help. my phone I5500 galaxy 5, i got some problem, i was not able to unlock my phone for several attempts, hence i was ask to log in to my g-mail account unfortunately i forgot my email ads and the password. I went to a service center in our community and said it needs to be reformat. I tried to reformat using samsung kies on my laptop but unfortunately it doesnt work. please, please any body who knows how and where to reformat or unlock the phone? please please please help... thank you

Anton, 03 Sep 2011Does any one know,how to use this phone as modem,please giv... moreyou have to either upgrade to android froyo 2.2. or root your phone I recommend universal androot get it by google. and then root your phone. then download a wifi tether i recommand barnacle wifi tether get it on google!
and then you can use your phone as a wifi hotspot!
