u can use the battary use service.make ur battary low and when it shows battary use and ok,click on battary use..then push the home..it will work..go to settings and factory reset it..it worked on my 5.

how do i unlock my samsung gt-15500 because Too Many Pattern attempts Wrong.

this phone SUCKS!!!!
its teribble...a needed to reset it over million times in just year and a half....I was soooo angry soooo many times...I cant even express...anyway. AVOID buying it as much as you can!!!

I couldn't believe it!!!!!!No one here know about this phone!! It is so hard to find a case and covers!! The phone is alright but sometime no.anyone who know more about this phone please post your comments and tell US about it!!

My phone wouldn't connect nicely to the WiFi outside, e.g. in restaurants and cafe. Couldn't even browse anything. But I still can connect to the WiFi in my house. However, I couldn't make a Viber call with this phone, while other phones can.

People must understand that this phone was a low-end, budget solution, even when it launched a few years ago. It was very cheap when the modern smartphone trend was just starting.
Even if limited, it allowed you to do almost everything a top Android phone could, for much less. Let's not even compare with the expensive iPhones of that time.
That said, I still have this phone and it's excellent, especially for its price. It's a workhorse that just won't fail... it works brilliantly with MadTeam's CyanogenMod 7 (which is Android 2.3.7). It's much faster than Samsung's original system (Android 2.2), and Samsung's system was pretty OK to begin with.
And, because it runs Gingerbread perfectly, you still have access to a whoooooole lot of both paid and free apps that only the Android ecosystem can provide you for free or for a small price.
Put Madteam CyanogenMod on this thing and you will breath new life into it. It just won't die!
Seriously! Even today (owning a Nexus 4) I'm still impressed by this little cheap phone.

Easy to use but always shuts down, i have to remove the battery and reinstall it to turn the phone on again. Is really frustrating. I've asked several times and keep getting told it is normal for smart phones - doesn't seem right to me. Its not very full either so can't blame storage. GGGRRRRRRR!

I hate this phone, not to be rude. it always shuts down for no reason, and it lags so often. It has very little phone storage, and the camera has very bad quality.

I lost mine some few days ago and got a brand new one(samsung galaxy 5) when i got home i tried recharging the phone,when the charger is connected to the phone it turns on if it is off but then it does not charge,i thought it was a fault with the charger so i tried the usb cable to my laptop to charge but then it repeats the same action as that of the charger,what do i do,I love this brand of samsung and dont want to lose it,pls help me.what have i got to do

well basically i have got my samsung galaxy 5 for about 3 years now i also encountered that the phone will basically do nithing without and memory card/sd card other than that the phone works extremelly well and is quit fast sending emails and surfing the web!!!
