I am using this mobile from 5 months now and I had no issues with it. I am daily using wifi, i have tried GPS with google maps, file transfer files through bluetooth and not even once I had any issues. Battery life has actually improved. earlier it was giving me about 2-3 days with normal usage but lately its giving me upto 4 days of backup. I cant expect anymore. I downloaded rock player, and I can run any video file using this.
I have downloaded document editor that can easily edit the word/excel files...
Overall, this is a great handset in the given price with huge android applications available and g5 able to play most of them without any issues except angry birds. It can not play angry birds properly:(

Hey, ima heavy chatter, does it get hot..? Will it get blast? I m planning to buy it. It s very costly 4 me, does it get hot? And how is browsing ?

hi fds........there is a problem in my g5 wifi .......whenever i try 2 connect my phone to wifi it always shows disconnected,scanning etc etc.its not connecting to my bsnl wifi.i tried all the settings but no result.my laptop is working fine with bsnl wifi.........plz help me................thanks in advance............

Firstly this phone is very good quality, with great built in apps and easy to download free apps, the internet is nice and easy, youtube is good aswell. The music is loud enough and the phone is a good layout. However the camera is ok but it isnt at very good standard how i expected it to be, The battery is very negative and only lasts up to a day. Secondly it took me ages to figure out how to send a song by bluetooth. The battery gets hot every now and then and runs out quickly, On the other hand, there are a lot of helpful apps like nav, attractions, e.t.c. Overall, this phone is very good all execept the battery and the camera.

Anonymous, 19 Jan 2011I accidental turn on my keypad to Swype keypad i do not lik... morein new message mode or in memo mode touch and hold the screen.....it wil ask for input method.....there you can change the mode for samsung keypad or swype mode....select samsung keypad

its much more easier than the previous one...

then select samsung keypad, then select whichever is more convenient for ya...
:)
you might wanna play around with other keyboard types too...
just download them from the market and try em out by following the guide i gave ya above

sub, 17 Jan 2011HOW TO MAKE OUR RINGTONE ONE OF THE SONG? i see no option f... moreTo make a ringtone: goto music folder press left hand key goto more use either move or copy,then select music file required.Once done goto media/audio/ringtones paste, thats it all done. Enjoy
