my G5 firmware version says "2.1-update 1" does this mean it was updated to 2.2 froyo?

This is the best phone i had so far... Well, since my last was one Cookie you can imagine how thrilled i am bout this one!
Touch screen is sensitive. Takes a little getting used to. Cookie's TS could be calibrated so got used to that.
Writing first couple sms on galaxy was a real pain in the a**. But after a while its much easyer.
WIFI works great, but i think it has kind of a short range. Not exactly sure bout this one, still have to check that out.
Now, about the GPS...
Never had a phone with GPS, couldnt wait to set that up. Downloaded iGo with maps for my region. It wouldnt work, then i found out my signal is to low so i moved around a bit to find a better signal. It does say on iGo that if you cant get a signal fix, stop the moving car or get out to clear sky. Works like a charm.
Android that i got with phone is 2.1. Downloaded the cracked 2.2 but not all that happy with it. Even tho i used the 2.1 for only a day before updating it seamed better. Dunno, something with 2.2 didnt sit right with me. But it alowes me to save apps to sd card so im stuck with it.

Bought one. Good phone. Great for browsing. Yeah low resolution and small screen size and the avg head phones and no qwerty. Call it optimized instead of low cost. If this does not satisfy then no high end will for sure.
