I've bought this unit yesterday. All i can say is "hellyah" i love this phone. It has everything that i need from wi-fi, browsing, youtube etc... best mobile unit. For everyone who's planning to get one, two-thumbs up for it.

guys need some help here
My phone is automatically getting turned off during night time i dont know the reason why even thought it it 3/4th or half of its battery its getting turned off but at the day time if i leave it ideally for 6 or 7 hours nothing is happening please help!!!

awesome phone, except i can't do reverse tethering with my galaxy5..
you can get adobe pdf reader and powerpoint reader from the market..

the phone is good but the battery dosent work properly sometimes the battery is good for 2G but not good for 3G...and my phone cant connect to the computer i dont know why!!!and after that i cant give charge to my phone....

recently i bought the same ,
the features are really good ..
sound quality & camera clarity are also superb...
i used netbrowsing in my office via wifi , downloading speed & surfing speed are unbelievable..
overall the mobile is fantastic ...
i got problem when i want to add my new user id for gtalk,it has to be restore factory setting.
There should be another synonym for this.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2010better buy lg optimus 1 p500 awesome spec n features at 11,... morewith regards to lg optimus 1 p500 ang this galaxy 5.. if you are looking for a feminine look ang lighter in weight go with galaxy 5.. with regards to specifications..almost the same...only the os differs that its eclair and froyo....but with its performance galaxy 5 is more responsive..
