im new to android..can u guys give some kewl websites to download applications..my android market is missing in my phone..do changing rom help with getting android market?if so which is best rom available now?

hi
i planing to go for this but main problems i cant get around is
1. some one said internal memory is less and apps will install only on internal memory
2. i want to open larg text files or pdf has any one installed the office app or pdf app and does it work
3 will .rm files work
4 what will be the price of i9000 or the wave
5 what about games grfix how doed it hold up

kunal, 09 Apr 2010hi guys, how do u quit the programs ...eg i started google... morecurrently there is no builtin task manager in the android. some people says memory management in android is not the same in symbian/winmo. even if it only has 128MB of RAM, we never experienced "low memory warning" or even any symptoms of it. Anyway, you can find "Advanced Task Manager" and install it. i guess it works as you expected.

This is a smartphone. Not just any smartphone, an android smartphone. Easily the most powerful OS atm (iPhones are severely limited by Apple themselves). This thing can download so much stuff completely free, you can virtually completely change it.
I am not quite so sure on the android vs.Symbian, but thats because only a symbian touch keyboard has ever been able to keep up with my typing speed. Android is superior everywhere else, and for normal people (:P) it should be woefully better than symbian.

i pick this phone because off it's processor speed vs price value.

obviously it does improve the performance, specialy keyboard lag is no longer an issue. and also so many features added.

is there anybody experiencing earpiece sound problem? i found it sounds uncomfort above volume level 2. sounds as you heard plastic wraped speaker. "brrr... bbrrr..." according to the peak level of the guy speaking on the phone.
guys, please submit your experience about this.

i don't understand what people find so bad about the review. gsmarena said there are minor glitches which can be fixed with a software upgrade. and if u don't want to wait for that, there are third party solutions which don't even require rooting. its the pantheon launcher that is laggy. and that can be replaced. helixlauncher is a great option. the music quality is great. it runs on android which is so much better than anything out there. the camera UI might be not be great but the picture quality sure is.and if u really want good pictures, go buy a digital camera. it will still be cheaper than the hero or legend or anything else that runs android. its the best 12k phone out there. and what would you rather buy? a 5800 or a spica ? we all know for a fact that the symbian touch experience is crappy. at 12k this phone is a steal. you won't find anything better than this. and the amount of customization you can do, makes it even better. people shouldn't be comparing this with the 5800 at all
