How come they haven't reviewed this yet? I certainly hope the back feels alright. Cuz from the look it definately looks more plasticy and lower quality, than more expensive handsets like the previous samsung galaxy, jet etc. Pros about the back however is better grip around the device.. Otherwise the most of the device looks just about fine, the headphones u recieve are alright, the display is almost as nice as an amoled (from what I've heard), nice battery, decent music player and the fact that it's the first android with a Divx support makes it even better. Those things probably makes up for the unfortunate fact that it doesn't have a flash and the awful built in memory.

"cat /proc/meminfo" tells that the MemTotal is 150MB (96MB in the old Galaxy), the same MemTotal as Acer Liquid S100 which is known to have 256MB of RAM. It would be odd if Spica had less than 256MB of RAM considering that its sister model Samsung Moment with same processor has that amount.

This is also known as the "Samsung Galaxy Lite" in Brazil. It was released here on October 22, with a MSRP of R$ 999 (about US$ 580), making it the cheapest Android-based smartphone on the Brazilian Market.

Internal RAM at 128 is way too low unless you don't plan on adding much.

Obviously Android is getting better and better. Soon by by Symbian and WinMo, at last a free OS which will generate tons of applications. If all the big brands are working on it, it means it will be the phone standard in the near future. Except Nokia of course, still stuck in the past with its prehistoric S60 OS. Good work Google !!
