Samsung I5700 Galaxy Spica

After almost 7-8 weeks of wait, I finally bought Samsung Spica on Monday! I bought it from a friend of mine. Its only 1.5 months old, scrachless and almost showroom piece with bill/waranty. I got a great bargain as I bought it for 8.5K, Bill says 14K!!!
I used it extensively with Android 1.5 and got it updated to Android 2.1 yesterday from Samsung service center.
Now its got better! Its a great phone for 8.5K (for me) its an awesome deal.
Main advantages are:
-Android OS hence no limit to want you can do with Apps!
-Super fast CPU
-Great Screen
-Screen resolution is enough to use latest apps
-Wi-fi
-GPS
-Push mail
-etc

T... morethose games run only in high end phones,newaz asphalt 5 doesnt work and other games with 3d dont work on spica..its a entry level android phone so dont expect miracles..you get only what you pay for..consider htc legend or even costlier phones to get all games working..

Does all the applications in android market run in Spica? There are many high graphic game like Asphalt 5 and fifa10 etc in android market. Does these game run in Spica? I'm planning to take this mobile, i read the review, they said there is noticeable lag in android 2.1 is it true?

Mad phone only for people who want simple and extraordinary phone. Made from good materials, good looking... and nothing else. In pure version it has no file manager and application installer, and Samsung suite for PC do not work. So it is possible to use it only like a simple phone without even callendar. If it has a Google market , someone can by applications and send all his personal information to Google. Excellent. And it is possibly to use this phone like a super ipod ...after hacking it and loosing warranty. Good luck with Samsung i5700...........

THe battery indicator is false..drops always 10% (100-70), 20% (70-30), using iGauge Battery or Android System Info..
When reach 30% it very fast to 15%...
I try off-charging when 50%(android bar), the samsung battery bar shown (1/5 bar)..

Can you see the box? if its name is in the top as Samasung Galaxy and also check the model no: should be i5700, if so then its Spica, also check the packed date if the packed date is after Apr 2010 then it should be having Eclair.
