To rival iPhone on features and speed at this price, it is an achievement. I think Samsung will hit big with this phone because of the price and the full Android experience.

It has a very good battery life! 1500mA, note that. Nice and big screen is good for eyes. Google maps with street view is cool!

This store person says the same thing from the past several weeks that it may be available in week. so dont waste and wait for that person. i may get an address today where we can find it but may be with 1.6 version. i will let u know in a day r two

I am also searching for this ph... morehi brother, the hyd samsung people have enquired and told that its not available in hyd itseems, he advised me to buy it from ebay. but he is not agreeing that production is stopped. he is only saying that the superstockists in hyd may have stopped taking it since there is no demand and also since this set had a bad impression initially due to its lack of bluetooth transfer which made dealers to skip the order for this. itseems anyway its very bad on samsung part to do like this.

samsung is releasing the i5800 at almost the same price of i5700 spica.
so, it might decreased the production of i5700 and started on i5800

Spica is called Portal in UK...since i cant find an online update here in asia, is it safe to upgrade my firmware in UK site?

If you connect your phone with usb debugging enabled then PC studio will identify your mob(you cant sync or access phone memory though), unfortunately even i couldnt find an update using that s/w hence i went for a service centre. There are many unofficial way of updating your device on the net but will void your warranty.
Am living in the southern tip of India however found these service centres in your place googling.

the only way is to set a pattern and then disable the haptic feed back. There is no other way to do it.

I couldnt figure out any way, apparently after heavy googling i found that theres no option available to disable from there!!!!

Is there no way to do it by myself online? I tried through Samsung PC Suite but it doesn't even detect the phone.
Also, if service centre is the only option, would you have any idea where I can find a service centre in Gurgaon?
