Does the i5700 allow what is called persistant reminder i.e. if an SMS arrives it will persisantly beep until it is acknowledged, this is very useful if one gets a sms when one does not have the handset in person to let one know there is a msg. I know there is an Android app that does this but can it do it out the box ?

Hi i guys help me i have problem about setting if u could help me that would be great.
1.Unable to remove vibrate while unlocking keypad.
2.Disable autolock of keypad .
3.Unable to set backlight duration.
4.unable to backup contacts and messages.

Thats a critical bug in V1.5 not sure about 2.1. I had experienced the same prob. It simply asks me the username passwd eventhough i had synchronised. Only solution is to ask some one to call you,attend the call then get back into the phone by pressing the back button and then disable the pattern unlock.
From there on do not use the pattern unlock feature!!!
Let me know if it helped if not we shall trouble shoot!

I have purchased this phone but I think outlook contacts cannot be sync. I have installed its original software and its connecting to device too but displaying error is "software dosnt support this device" someone have solutions for this...?

hi guys..i have this phone and i'm very pleased about it. i upgrade from 1.5 cupcake to 2.1 eclair and rooted it...now i can install and use live wallpapers..ehe. i'm just waiting for the 2.2 froyo i hope it will also work in spica..i heared it has many improvements from the 2.1 eclair. here is the link that will guide you upgrade yours to 2.1 eclair http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QhG8pBXTeY8
