Can you plz let me know from which service centre(and ur city)you updated?
Am tired of searching for this update! And the catch here is that certain service providers bricked the phones.

Anonymous, 18 May 2010Hi, Can anyone plzz tel me how APN settings for vodafone... moresorry wont work vodafone downright refused to give setting saying this fone is not supported and i would have to take extra 199/299/ 699 blackberry internet pack above are rentals plus 10p/10kb if you think that is good enough (rental + monthly usage +internet rental +internet usage ) then go down to Vodafone store tell u want blackberry plans i on the other hand got aircel number just 98 bucks unlimited edge /gprs a month even youtube videos play well surfing is a charm on they network .

shaan, 18 May 2010Dude, then what do you suggest as to what needs to be done.... moreits all right dude..its just happens rarely..i ve read many forums where users got it updated perfectly..i too got it updated fine..and the service centre uses the same software 'odin' as described in all forums..just go to he main service centre in the city

shaan, 18 May 2010hi guys, just need a clarification before i actually end up... more@Shaan,
Immediately after buying new Spica (1.5) , i went to samsung service center for update to 2.1 But while update phone crashed, and after that samsung guys were not able to roll back to prev version, even phone was not at all booting. They gave me letter and asked to collect new piece from showroom again.
Now i am afraid to go for upgrade again.

hi guys, just need a clarification before i actually end up buying this. many of people i came across they had upgraded their software version to 2.1 hwvr, the phone crashed and infact it was of no use thereafter. we often get the links to upgrae the software version on this website hwvr, what to do if you buy a fone and immediately go on to upgrade the software and the fone crashes. Is that safe enough to upgrade the version w/o taking any risks. will appreciate yr immediate response. thanks

The GPS is working on I5700, but the accuracy is 2500 metres. Can you please let me know how to get the exact location.
Also I have upgraded to 2.1, How to use the live wallpaper.

No. I don't think Spica can run 2.2. apparently 2.2 will require more than 192 MB of RAM which is what Spica has.

hi spica users, can any1 confirm if the screen is amoled or tft...my screen does not loose clarity at less 25 degree angle, it's still sharp as it viewed at 90 degree angle.
