hi guys..
I have some query about i 5700 ( eclar)
pls guide me...
1. can we use android 2.1 phone as modem? ie. surfing internet on pc using phone with GPRS service.
2. after updating this phone, i heard that camara perfomance become slow.. it take too much time to focusing.
3. is it right that other applications ( form android market) will be installed in phone memory. it not possible to install in SD card.
earlier i had Star 3G, which i have lost recently.. and now i am searching other mobile in that range ie ( 10k to 12K).

Am from tri... morehey .. i got my spica 2 weeks back .. i got it in 1.5 cupcake version only from the store .. luckily d service centre had just recieved the software for updating it to 2.1 eclair .. i got it updated from them .. but the software seemed broken and the phone got stuck slow n factory resetted everytime i switch it off .. so i guess better not get it updated till the update is out of its experimental mode ..

i have some doubt about specia...
is it work as modem.. means we can surf internet on pc though phone (with gprs)?
in vadodara one dealer says after installing radio from android market . it will work without using gprs. is it true?
i heard that after updating 2.1, camera performance degrade.. i mean it become very slow to focus. is it right?
additional software is installed in phone memory not in sd card.
please guide me...
i have just lost my samsung star 3g. and now i am searching phone costing between 10k to 12k.

Thank you very much for responding teja. Am from trivandrum. I can go to an extent upto chennai,coimbatore or to bangalore. As i said i had enquired everywhere here and people are not even aware of the updates. One of my friend tried an update from calicut to only brick his phone. If you know any service centre who have successfully done do let me know!
