... more1) Browser is good. Opera Mini is better. The Wifi receiver on this phone can't pick up a signal very far from my router though. Where my laptop gets a decent signal, my phone gets a very weak one.
3) The screen is OK. Nothing outstanding, but pretty decent. It can play 3D games like Raging Thunder and Winds of Steel but the graphics is lower than what you could expect from a high end Android. You can't complain at this price.
5) It will be upgraded to 2.2 as soon as Samsung finishes adding it's UI to FroYo for this phone.

Can it store practically unlimited messages or limited to 1000 or 500 or something like that?

1. I tried to download applications from android market but i am not able to, it says starting download and the throws a error messgae "Download unsuccessful" but i am able to access internet (through GPRS).. and i am also searching apps from android market (implies internet is working) and i am getting option button to install.. any help? am i missing anything?
2. My gps is not locking.. Only once it locked while i was travelling in bus.. And i have kept it for 30 mins or more in terrace (many times this week), but no good.. can anything be done.. (provided gprs is on for downloading map).. again am i missing anything or any set up?

1) how is internet browsing, how are the result and resolution of webpages, does it really serve the purpose when we browse net???
2) how is the clearity of pdf, office documents?
3) many reviews raised concerns about low resolution of display screen, wht is ur experience? does it hamper its usebility anyway? does it supports diff popular games?
4) its upgrade to froyo2.2, is it official or sure?
5) any other things abt which u wud like make us aware...

Is it only in my case or the Battery Staus in the notification bar has some problem.Even though the battery indicator shows that the battery is only 25%-35% used after 1 1/2 days of mild usage but the battery status message from the settings in 'About Phone' shows that only 15%-25% power is left in the battery.Anybody facing the same problem.

1:how to add sim contacts to phone
2:not able to play ringtones which i download,how to set tham as phone ring.

Hey guys i just did a mild survey on the internet and Galaxy 3 just seemed the right choice for me.
I just need one clarification from guys who are already using this superb set. that is TETHERING possible on this device. That is can i use it as a modem to browse on my laptop?
If no! is it possible by installin any particular application?

The Alarm Clock does not work when the mobile is off.Didn't even find one in Android marketplace that works that way.BUMMER!!!! :-(
