1. "Stand-by - Up to 620 h (2G)" ?? Hardly... Left in Flight mode for 24 hours - 2x% battery gone. REAL STANDBY TIME: 90h... pathetic.
2. GPS unusable.
3. The phone cannot wake up at alarm, it seems nobody making Android phones care about this basic features.
4. I'll go back to Symbian, last phone working for 6 years now without fault.

NBS, 30 Mar 2011Personal opinion, even I own Galaxy 3 for almost last 8 mon... moreupdates over the corner many people already did. This phone is perfect according to specs n price neglecting flash and the resolution. Audio is perfect, video player does xvid dvix upto D1, call is loud n clear, messaging is smooth with swipe and availible in portrait and landscape, browser is faster than symbian, battery is better than mini s5670. Plus it's sexy in black n cute in white ;)

NBS, 30 Mar 2011Personal opinion, even I own Galaxy 3 for almost last 8 mon... moreUpdates are bound to come soon, some already have updated. i agree on the fact that there are more options but amongst those he said this is better imo. The only flaw is the resolution n flash support. Audio is spectacular supports xvid upto D1, browser is better, speaker is loud enough, music player is eye candy, 667 mhz processer, messaging with swipe both in portrait and landscape mode, very good 3.2 snapper, a social and an eye candy experience. Plus it's cute in white and sexy in black!

So someone who is thinking of buying a new Android phone, in my personal opinion should go for the one which is already running on 2.2 since they are in plenty in the market either from Samsung (Galaxy 551) or from other brands rather than buying the phone and then waiting for Froyo update.
