It was version 1.5 that came with our phone.. But now I'm using version 2.29 which I installed today..

To enable wifi routing goto settings-> wireless and network-> mobile ap-> tick mobile ap..

Guys i talked to samsung person as he said that the official annauncment for foryo update is not done yet..
The update is available through kies is a firmware update thts y sywpe not working wait for few days more for off icial diclration of foryo update

Swpe not working and camera gets force shutdown at some times after froyo update.

Using Froyo on G3 rocks! now I can use this device as wi-fi hotspot/ wi-fi router. I have writter blog about this chek it out and Enjoy Froyo :)

Hey as per m reading here that Apollo is getting foryo 2.2
Can any one tell me how i can update my phone yar. Actually my pc is not working n i dnt hav net connection so can i send my cell phone to samsung service centre if yes then plz tell me.
And other ways to upgrade to foryo

AnonD-6132, 21 Apr 2011which is better-galaxy fit or galaxy 3(i5801)? galaxy fit resoluton is less...so colours look washed out...it has 5 mp cam...but g3 also rocks in cam section...only -ve point is the absence of flash....go for g3 or galaxy ace by xtending a bit of ur budget
