This phone is three years old with a single core processor. So, it will always be too slow to run the latest versions of firmware or software - designed for two or more cores. Don't believe tales of rooting giving fast speeds, overclocking - will eventually wreck it, and installing Ice Cream Sandwich. It will do the things a good phone would do three years ago, and that's all.

If all you need is a phone, acceptable camera, GPS, radio, wireless etc. this will do it. Battery life is as good as you make it using software utilities. I can make mine last 10 days by not using internet or wireless. It is also a much stronger phone than the current crop and better made, although thicker than more recent offerings. I work outside most of the time and am very active - no problem with this baby. I'll be very sorry when it breaks!

I'm having this mobile. This mobile support ordinary SIM but not mini. Internal memory will be exhausted to 256MB after upgrading to FROYO.

Good phone ! Only problem is its less memory, graphics by software rendering.
Install purumod rom, gives you 5days backup for fair use and 8 days in untouched state.
All in all, go with other options available in market, you can get better specs

This was my first smartphone, used from 2011 to early 2013. While it does its job very nicely and is still a fairly powerful device, it has for the most part been completely superceded by the Galaxy Ace upwards. Its 16m colour screen and 240x400 resolution is still (as of April 2013) better than many entry-level Samsung smartphones, but it suffers by only supporting Android 2.2 Froyo, and many apps - perhaps most notably Instagram - won't work on it. For a good midrange smartphone either get a cheap Galaxy Ace refurbished/second-hand, or pay a bit extra for an Ace 2.

Catzilla, 08 Jan 2013I cant copy my apps to my sd card... Plz help me....You can only move apps to SD card if you have updated to 2.2 software. You can do this by installing keis on the computer and then connecting your phone.
